This Director of Strategic Sourcing role is accountable for all direct and indirect supplier selection, performance, and rationalization for the Auris portfolio of platforms. Recognizing the cross functional nature of supplier relationships, this person will negotiate both between internal functions and with supplier leadership to optimize the value our partnership brings to patients, customers, and stakeholders. The person in this role will be an active member and decision maker on the supply chain leadership team, and provide high value procurement support to all functions across all the Auris product platforms. They will lead a team of managers and senior level individual contributors to systemically reduce supplier risk, improve COGS and drive value across the portfolio. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Supply Chain Operations. Key Responsibilities Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position is responsible for: Creation of short and long term sourcing strategies for direct and indirect products/services Supplier development, negotiation, contract execution, and performance management Developing and & deploying predictive analytic tools to optimize spend, risk, and lead time Attracting & developing talent Utilization of market analysis, competitive reviews, & benchmarking to influence source strategy Support of quality improvement inside J&J and at supplier partners Budget creation, spend management, and year over year cost savings Tactical procurement of components/products and supplier performance management in support of integrated business plan objectives for P&L and balance sheet goals. Tactical negotiation and performance management of indirect suppliers Leveraging and contribution to J&J Procurement strategies Qualifications Education:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent University degree in Engineering, Technical required; focused degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred. Required: Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional work experience Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and compelling manner Performance management/negotiation experience with suppliers Manufacturing/supply chain leadership experience within medical device industry Experience in development and launch of new products Working knowledge of quality control methodologies and engineering specifications Experience in advising and influencing senior leadership at suppliers and within the company Experience in using financial, quality, and risk measures to guide strategic direction Experience in talent development of staff Previous experience in highly matrixed large organization Preferred Professional (APICS-CPIM or CSCP and/or PMP or CAPM ISM, Lean, Six Sigma) Certifications Multi-country experience Other: May require up to 30% domestic and/or international travel to other sites and locations.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is : $167,000 - $289,800/yr. Additional Description for Pay Transparency: Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation -120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Condolence Leave - 30 days for an immediate family member: 5 days for an extended family member

Caregiver Leave - 10 days

Volunteer Leave - 4 days

Military Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours
