Arclin is hiring a strategic and results-oriented Director, Strategic Project Management to join our Engineered Building Solutions (EBS)/Surfaces group, reporting to the Senior Director of Business Growth & Innovation. Arclin is a leading materials science provider of chemistry-based polymer technologies and engineered products, serving a wide range of industries including building products, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, agriculture, and other natural resource markets.

Responsibilities
Lead and deliver complex, cross-functional projects by defining scope, milestones, and success metrics.
Align and coordinate multiple stakeholders, ensuring progress through structured planning and effective communication.
Identify critical path activities and focus team efforts on high-impact questions and decisions.
Proactively manage risks and resources to maintain momentum and ensure timely delivery.
Translate complex technical and market insights into clear, actionable information for diverse audiences.
Facilitate alignment and drive decision-making through storytelling, visual tools, and executive summaries.
Influence across functions and positions without authority by building trust, engaging stakeholders, and fostering shared purpose.
Apply stage-gate methodologies to streamline execution and reduce waste.
Develop business cases and models in coordination with relevant functions to support strategic decisions, including cost/value analysis and market sizing.
Synthesize technical and market data into insights that guide strategy and innovation efforts.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field (e.g., Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science) or Business; advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
7+ years of experience in innovation, product development, or strategic planning—ideally within chemicals, materials, or related industries.
5 years of experience in a Project Management role with a proven track record leading cross-functional initiatives from concept to commercialization.
Strong analytical skills, market sizing, and value-in-use analysis.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity with a focus on progress and continuous learning.
Exceptional communication skills; able to influence and align diverse teams without formal authority.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Planner,); familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus.
Strategic thinker with a bias for execution, resilience, and a passion for innovation-driven impact.
