Overview

Director, Strategic Initiatives at National Charitable Services (NCS). The role contributes to strategy, planning, and implementation of new, innovative offerings for NCS, and develops the business portfolio strategy across NCS’ products and services for current and future customer segments. The role reports to the Head of Product Portfolio Strategy and is responsible for delivering on NCS’ long-term strategic vision by evaluating customer needs, analyzing market trends, and identifying growth opportunities. It informs decisions on which offerings to develop, maintain, or retire, maximizing portfolio value and competitiveness.

The Expertise & Skills You Bring

• BA/BS required; MBA or equivalent preferred; 5-8 years of total work experience
• Experience in management consulting or strategy development required
• Strong strategy consulting toolkit including critical thinking, structured problem solving, and actionable synthesis to turn data into insights
• Ability to deliver practical recommendations based on strategic and operational analysis and primary/secondary research
• Strategic leadership and collaboration skills to influence teams across functional areas to achieve business goals
• Ability to manage and execute complex programs with strong relationship management across product, technology, and service
• Ability to develop and maintain project plans, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver business results
• Confidence, professional maturity, and ability to work independently and collaborate across all levels of the organization
• Strong communication skills to influence cross-functional teams and executives through presentations
