Requirements / Qualifications EXPERIENCE: •Minimum five (5) years of outstanding administrative experience at the site and/or District level including experience within special education and equity initiatives (preferred). • Five (5) years of successful experience as a special educator (teacher, psychologist, speech pathologist, etc.) and have a proven ability to perform at a high level of competence in positions of leadership and responsibility. • Bilingual preferred EDUCATION: • Master’s degree from an accredited university • Valid California Special Education teaching credential, Speech and Language Specialist or School Psychologist Credential. • Valid California K-12 Administrative Credential • English Learner authorization or equivalent DISQUALIFICATION While applicants are encouraged to research the community and the school system, anyone who attempts to directly contact individual board members, the superintendent, or innovation team members with the intent of influencing the decision of the Board, will be considered to have disqualified herself/himself from candidacy for the position.
