Responsibilities Lead, manage and grow multiple teams of product-focused software engineers Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers on your team Collaborate with product managers to understand desired application and platform capabilities and testing scenarios Continuously improve software engineering practices Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across full-stack development tools and technologies within Agile teams Ensure craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions Stay current with technology trends, experiment with new technologies, and mentor other engineers Foster innovation, inclusion, collaboration, and diversity Improve the velocity of your team and other teams Enable and simplify the use of new and existing AWS services Basic Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree At least 7 years of software development experience At least 5 years of people management experience Preferred Qualifications Master\'s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering 10+ years of software development experience 5+ years of experience in Agile practices Compensation and Location The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries are location-based. Example ranges listed for some Capital One locations. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated. This role may be eligible for incentive compensation (cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives).
