Executive Search in Information Technology Location Hybrid Schedule in CT or Chicago (2-3 days in office) This senior leadership position reports to the CIO and is responsible for architecting and managing the company's multi-tenant Salesforce platform—covering Sales & Service Cloud, MuleSoft, Tableau, Data Cloud, B2B Commerce, CPQ, and Experience Cloud. The director oversees a team of Salesforce developers and admins, ensuring successful implementations, integrations, and daily support. This is a hybrid role - 2-3 days in office (CT or Chicago.) Key Responsibilities • Design and implement Salesforce architecture solutions. • Lead platform development, troubleshooting, and production support. • Drive integrations with other systems and maintain data integrity. • Create reports and dashboards for business stakeholders. • Identify automation opportunities and lead enhancements. • Promote agile best practices and ensure solution quality. • Collaborate with senior IT leadership to align Salesforce strategy with business goals. Requirements • 5+ years as a Salesforce Solution/Technical Architect. • Hands-on experience with complex back-office implementations. • Leadership experience managing developers and admins. • Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning framework, APIs. • Experience with CPQ, e-commerce, data migrations, and acquisitions. • Strong communication and analytical skills. Nice-to-haves • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Dev I & II, Architect, Admin, Sales & Service Cloud). • Familiarity with integration tools (ANT, Eclipse).
