Job Description We are currently seeking a Director of Sales at our Mountlake Terrace Plaza community in Mountlake Terrace, WA!
Pay: $40 - $43 per hour + commission.
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 9am - 5pm
The Director of Sales embodies Yoi Shigoto, “the good work,” by driving sales efforts and outcomes of the senior living community, managing inquiries, tours, professional referral development, first impressions, and understanding market trends. Success requires empathy, curiosity, drive, commitment, passion, and the ability to create lasting relationships with prospects and professionals.
Responsibilities include:
Managing community’s sales efforts to maintain occupancy (85%)
Responding to inquiries via multiple channels and entering activities into CRM
Utilizing follow-up plans to engage inquiries and schedule next steps
Maintaining detailed database records in real-time
Being the primary contact for prospects/families until move-in
Training community team on first impressions, inquiry calls, and tours
Conducting community walk-throughs to ensure readiness
Building relationships with industry influencers and referral sources
Developing and managing sales and marketing plans
Understanding market research and adjusting strategies accordingly
Training concierge team on guest interactions
Pricing apartments and developing revenue opportunities
Communicating regularly with leadership
Additional duties include:
Performing other job duties and ensuring compliance with laws and policies
Representing the community professionally and tactfully
Supervisory Responsibilities: Sales Assistant (0-1 employee)
Minimum Requirements:
College degree or relevant experience
Sales and marketing experience preferred
Background clearances and health screenings
Valid driver’s license and insurance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s coursework in related fields
Successful sales/marketing track record
Flexible availability including weekends and evenings
Physical Demands:
Mobility and ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to operate a vehicle and assist residents in moving
