Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel The Role In this strategic leadership role, you’ll be responsible for guiding and managing the Safety & Loss Prevention department to fulfill the company’s mission and vision. You’ll work closely with the VP of Loss Containment and collaborate across departments to deliver data-driven safety solutions that reduce workplace injuries and support profitable business growth. Your day-to-day will include: Directing department operations to align with company goals and regulatory standards Setting priorities and allocating resources to maximize team performance Analyzing data to improve operations and initiate strategic changes Collaborating with underwriting, claims, and marketing to support business acquisition and retention Attracting, mentoring, and empowering safety professionals to deliver impactful loss prevention programs Overseeing and reviewing risk evaluations for insurance prospects Leading innovation in safety services, products, and technologies Representing the department through presentations to policyholders, agents, and stakeholders Managing and adhering to the department’s approved budget Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for a visionary, confident leader with a positive mindset—someone who thrives on independence, embraces metrics, and drives strategic outcomes through decisive action. Bachelor’s degree in safety/occupational health or a closely related field required 10 years of experience conducting safety/risk control assessments and consulting on injury prevention strategies, preferably within the property and casualty insurance industry 5 years of experience in a supervisory role (required) One or more current professional designations in safety or a related field (preferred) Proficiency in Excel and Power BI Valid driver’s license, motor vehicle insurance, and use of personal vehicle required Ready to lead a team that’s shaping the future of workplace safety in Oklahoma?
