Summary

The Director will report to the MD, Basel Reporting and will manage the quarterly production cycle for the regulatory reports.

Key Responsibilities For The Role:

  • Conduct first level review of regulatory reporting schedule including and not limited to Call Report, FRY-9C, Y-9LP sure to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

  • Maintain and organize documentation in accordance with regulatory reporting policies and procedures.

  • Analyze and present RWA and Capital Ratio variances and trends to the Managing Director of Capital Reporting and escalating any material exceptions.

  • Specify data requirements to providers for new products, as well as for new or modified instructions.

  • Deliver walkthroughs of reporting processes to Quality Assurance and Internal Audit Teams.

  • Work on ad-hoc impact studies by the Regulators.

Key Skills/Experience Qualifications For The Role:

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.

  • 5-7+ years of experience in regulatory reporting for banks in the US. Specifically, Call Report, FRY-9C, Y-9LP.

  • Experience working with AXIOM (ASL), JIRA, and Workiva, Close Manager.

  • Excellent interpersonal, team player, written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work with data providers and technology partners to explain reporting requirements.

  • Familiarity with other reports such as FFIEC 102, FRY-15 or CCAR

  • Experience with Power Bi and Visio

  • CPA, CFA, or other similar designation

  • Experience in change management and exception escalation

The estimated base salary range for this position is $130,000 USD to $150,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
