Summary
Altus Biologics is dedicated to every client and patient through its management of the administrative aspects of our physician's biologic therapy practices. Our clinical professionals and administration staff are experienced and achieve desired results. This role is designed to provide essential support across multiple companies, including Hill Country Pharmacy, Altus Biologics, and Remedy GPO. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assisting with operations, services, and projects for all three organizations. The primary focus will be on fostering collaboration, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting the specific needs of each company.
Please note: This is not an IT or technology-focused role. We are looking for an individual contributor with Healthcare experience.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives in specialty pharmacy, infusion services, and/or complex biologics to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality execution aligned with patient care and operational priorities.
Translate strategic objectives into actionable project plans; scope workstreams, allocate resources, and assign responsibilities across clinical, operational, financial, and compliance teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders across pharmacy operations, clinical programs, revenue cycle, and patient services to ensure project alignment with organizational and care delivery goals.
Document processes and project workflows to support clinical consistency, compliance, and knowledge transfer for ongoing program optimization.
Perform cost-benefit analyses, build and manage budgets, and proactively monitor for financial risks and resource constraints-particularly within reimbursement-sensitive environments.
Conduct market and business analyses related to emerging therapies, complex biologics, and specialty pharmacy trends; develop business cases and strategic recommendations for service expansion and competitive differentiation.
Prepare and present project goals, data-driven insights, and recommendations to senior leadership, clinicians, and external stakeholders including vendors and health plan partners.
Identify and assess operational, regulatory, or implementation risks; propose mitigation strategies and guide teams through changes in scope, process, or policy.
Serve as a liaison between internal teams (e.g., pharmacy, nursing, payer relations) and external partners (e.g., pharmaceutical manufacturers, distribution hubs, 3PLs, and PBMs), ensuring successful coordination and communication.
Track, communicate, and escalate project milestones, risks, and deliverables to executive sponsors and functional leaders.
Contribute to product and service strategy by aligning execution plans with evolving patient access models, new drug launches, or therapy-specific delivery models.
Oversee product lifecycle initiatives from performance improvement to new service line implementation in complex biologics or specialty pharmacy programs.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., URAC, NABP, FDA, HIPAA) and internal standards across the project lifecycle, particularly as it relates to patient safety, privacy, and data reporting.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in related field
3 or more years of project or process management experience
