Responsibilities

  • Help define Capital One's long-term vision for leveraging open banking data, champion it with our Senior Leadership, and deliver it through your cross-functional team
  • Develop product and business strategy; prioritize investments to achieve our vision and rally support from the Business Divisions
  • Collaborate with a team cross-functional partners in the Business, Engineering, Design, Data Analytics, Data Science, Legal, Risk and others to refine the strategy and deliver the required capabilities
  • Set the requirements and deliver Capital One's Enterprise-wide open banking Platform
  • Work to ensure our product portfolio meets or exceeds the requirements set forth by the upcoming relevant open banking regulations in the US and Canada
  • Support the Business in launching and scaling new open banking use cases / experiences
  • Coach and grow a high-performing team of Product and Process Managers

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience working in Product Management
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
    • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or related)
    • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or related) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
  • 8+ years of experience in Agile product management
  • 8+ years of experience developing and executing on long-term business strategy

The salary ranges are listed below by location for candidates hired to work in those locations. Salaries for part-time roles are prorated. This role is also eligible for incentive compensation.

McLean, VA: $226,000 - $257,900 for Director, Product Management

New York, NY: $246,500 - $281,300 for Director, Product Management

Richmond, VA: $205,400 - $234,400 for Director, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range for that location, and the actual offer will be in the offer letter.

This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives. Capital One offers a comprehensive benefits package; eligibility varies by status.
