We are looking for a transformational Director of Product Management to lead the Lyft Business portfolio. This leader will be a true business strategist with product expertise who has the exceptional executive presence and the ability to manage a large portfolio spanning both early‑stage and mature businesses. This leadership role will be responsible for defining the long‑term vision, strategy, and execution for products that drive significant growth and value for our enterprise customers. You will manage and mentor a team of talented Product Managers, serve as a key liaison to executive leadership, and partner closely with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Marketing to deliver world‑class B2B transportation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and articulate a compelling, long‑term product vision and strategy for your portfolio that aligns with the overall Lyft Business and company goals.
  • Take accountability for the overall business results of your product portfolio, including revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention, and feature adoption.
  • Conduct deep market research, competitive analysis, and customer engagement to develop a profound understanding of enterprise transportation needs and opportunities across various industries (e.g., Healthcare, corporate T&E).
  • Oversee the development and execution of the product roadmap, making high‑impact, data‑driven decisions to prioritize features and initiatives that maximize customer value and business impact.
  • Oversee resource allocation across multiple product lines and ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects.
  • Leverage data analytics to assess effectiveness and continuously optimize performance and ROI.
  • Lead a large cross‑functional team, fostering collaboration with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Sales, and Marketing to ensure successful product development and go‑to‑market execution.
  • Serve as the product evangelist, clearly communicating product strategy, progress, and performance metrics to executives, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to maintain and grow Lyft's position.
  • Lead a high‑performing team of Product Managers and Senior Product Managers.
  • Continuously optimize product development processes and operating models to increase team efficiency and speed of delivery.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years managing products across different lifecycle stages (0‑to‑1, turnaround, scaling).
  • Proven track record of defining and launching high‑impact software products at scale, preferably in a B2B, Enterprise, or Platform environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, cultivating collaborative relationships across teams, stakeholders, and executives.
  • Exceptional executive presence with proven ability to influence & present to C‑suite and board‑level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and growing a high‑performing team of product managers with development, mentorship, and excitement to exceed goals.
  • Steadfast focus on customers, including drivers, passengers, Lyft employees, and enterprise clients.
  • Transformational product thinker who drives original strategy and hard strategic calls that changed business trajectory.
  • Experience leading distributed teams across multiple geographies and cultures.
  • Strategic thinking with data‑driven OKR translation.
  • Strong technical fluency to collaborate with engineering and data science.
  • Experience in the rideshare, logistics, transportation, or travel technology (T&E) industry.
  • Expertise with Enterprise‑level tools, integrations, and administration portals, especially for corporate spending reporting.
  • Experience in highly‑regulated industries such as Healthcare Technology.

Hybrid Schedule – The role is in‑office on a hybrid schedule: office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Hybrid roles may work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.

Compensation – Expected base pay range for the San Francisco or New York area: $236,000 - $295,000. Salary ranges vary by location, qualifications, experience; equity/bonus may also apply.
