GENERAL FUNCTION: This key leadership position is responsible for all product and portfolio strategies to drive revenue growth and profit across the Bancorp for the assigned Bankcard HSA line of business (Credit Card, Debit/Prepaid, HSA). The role has overall responsibility for achieving the annual line of business profit plan. It involves developing long-term strategic growth plans focusing on customers, competition, profitability, risk management, product life cycle, and service considerations. The position leads product price setting, collaborates with business partners on enhancements, new product concepts, and market innovation. It coordinates activities across corporate areas necessary to bring products to market, develops financial operating plans, projects profit and loss, and aims to meet annual sales objectives for the assigned products or areas. The manager also oversees staff responsible for executing key growth strategies. The role is responsible and accountable for risk management by promoting open communication, elevating concerns, and adhering to policies and procedures. It emphasizes doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, ensuring actions and behaviors foster a positive customer experience. Operating within the Bank's risk appetite, the role involves consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Exercise direct supervision of assigned product, portfolio, marketing, sales, and analytics managers. Collaborate across the organization with risk, credit, operations, collections, and retail teams. Manage the line of business P&L and related products. Provide guidance to Finance for financial analysis, projections, and budgeting. Establish annual goals and objectives for key deliverables. Oversee implementation of new products and enhancements. Develop and maintain product strategies and the business strategic plan. Oversee pricing, profitability, and strategy models to optimize portfolio performance. Build and maintain relationships with key customers, internal partners, and vendors. Manage cross-functional teams on development, implementation, and servicing issues. Research competitor practices and pricing to ensure competitiveness and quality service. Lead pricing committees as appropriate. Monitor industry trends and conduct market research to understand customer needs. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback to employees; develop talent; recognize achievements; ensure succession planning and a strong talent pool. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 20+ years of relevant industry experience. Deep understanding of product features, benefits, pricing, positioning, and advertising. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Ability to manage credit risk/return trade-offs to maximize profitability. Strong organizational, quantitative, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Experience influencing and negotiating with external and decision-making parties. Position: Director, Product Analytics. Total Base Pay Range: $119,500 - $256,900 USD annually. Location: Virtual, South Carolina.
