Key Responsibilities: Serve as a key member of the Commercial Legal leadership team as well as Procurement team. Stand-up and manage a Procurement contracting team comprised of 3-6 global legal professionals. as well as Procurement team. Lead a team of 3-6 legal professionals. Establish strong partnerships with stakeholders and Procurement leaders implementing contracting strategies and effectively leading cross-functional initiatives. Review, negotiate, draft and drive fast turnaround times on high-value buy-side agreements. Provide rapid, business-savvy legal advice while effectively managing legal risk and ensuring compliance across sourcing transactions. Identify and implement legal process improvements to support rapid deal closure. Be a change agent. Drive continuous improvement on legal and contract processes, templates, and playbooks, etc. Manage all supplier litigations and non-litigation supplier claims to minimize risks and maximize recovery, including working with internal and/or external litigation counsels. Key Qualifications: J.D. degree from an accredited and accredited law school/university; licensed to practice law in the United States. Exceptional contract negotiation and drafting skills, rigor/attention to detail, and strong legal reasoning, particularly in high-pressure transactions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Proven track record developing and maintaining strong working relationships with demanding internal clients. Experience leading a global team inclusive of building teams and processes from ground-up. 5+ years of professional legal experience with a multi-national corporation and/or law firm, preferably with demonstrated proficiency in drafting and negotiating large scale and complex contracts/projects for multinational companies.Experience of supporting supply chain operations and procurement transactions
