What you´ll do The Director of Plant Operations reports directly to Vice President of Operations and is responsible for managing all activities related to operations management including the procurement, manufacture, and product support for the applicable business units supported by the plant.
Lead and develop strategic planning initiatives and headcount objectives by performing the duties outlined, personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Provides leadership to the functions of Manufacturing, Engineering, and Materials Management.
Lead and develop team for orderly and effective operations, ensuring compliance to all Henkel policies and procedures.
Plans, develops, organizes, and executes operations strategies that meet Henkel financial and strategic objectives.
You are committed to budget-oriented planning and results.
Make an impact by effectively balancing strategic objectives with financial return (profit) and efficient use of financial assets, including working capital. Manages all capital planning and expenditures.
Leads and develops innovative and cost-effective methods of manufacturing, labor management, material procurement and utilization, and business processes to position the business unit for continued growth.
Coordinate a best-in-class team for the implementation and execution of the Henkel Safety Health and Environment (SHE) programs.
Clearly communicate and ensure that Henkel Safety Health and Environment (SHE) rules, and procedures are in place to prevent injuries, minimize occupational health exposures and prevent incidents.
What makes you a good fit B.S. or B.A. degree in Engineering, Operations, is preferred or related technical field.
Relevant professional experience, 15+ years preferred, in manufacturing and product development, including 10 years of senior leadership through plant/general management in manufacturing.
Professional comprehension and use of contract negotiation skills as it pertains to all aspects of the business.
P&L responsibility in general management or plant management in a manufacturing organization.
Leadership mentality with entrepreneurial spirit that is demonstrated by achieving desired results through others and building an effective management team through coaching and mentoring.
Possess and/or gain an in-depth technical knowledge of the applicable product lines.
Proven strategic and tactical skills, along with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Proficient oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Comprehensive business process and systems knowledge, such as ERP, and the ability to identify and implement best practices.
Digital affinity for project management and systems background.
Great team player with hands-on mentality, possessing a strong work ethic, and high standards that link to exceptional business values and ethics.

The salary for
this role is $135,000.00 - $145,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith
anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may
ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary
