The Clinical Director serves as a strategic leader, overseeing clinical operations and initiatives for assigned hospital pharmacy accounts. This role is responsible for implementing clinical and quality programs, managing clinical drug analytics software, and ensuring documentation of outcomes aligns with client agreements. The Director builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital executives (CNOs, CEOs, COOs, CFOs), medical staff, and corporate clinical managers, while providing clinical education and support to drive optimal patient care and operational performance.
This position reports to the Director, Pharmacy Operations & Account Management.
Responsibilities
Identify major cost drivers and opportunities to reduce pharmaceutical expenditures at client hospitals.
Assist clients in developing and implementing strategies to manage pharmaceutical expenses.
Develop and implement tracking tools and resources to monitor progress and support client initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance tools and deliver innovative, client-focused solutions.
Lead the development and execution of corporate clinical initiatives and therapeutic group management.
Support budgeting processes.
Maintain relevant clinical and operational resources.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of clinical operations, products, and services.
Guide post-sales assessment, design, implementation, and monitoring of new products and services in complex, multi-site environments.
Develop and manage customer training programs and serve as a resource to internal and external stakeholders.
Drive customer adoption and utilization of new products and services through strategic influence and relationship-building.
Gather and relay customer feedback to inform product and service improvements.
Contribute to the development of innovative business practices, policies, and departmental strategies.
Act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy required
4+ years of related experience preferred - inpatient system setting preferred
Data Analytics - ability to use data & identify trends, priorities, or opportunities for customer base
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills to multiple levels within a healthcare organization

Ability to travel up to 30% to hospital accounts
Anticipated salary range : $132,700 - $210,315
