About the Role

The Company is seeking a Director or Vice President of Publishing, Content, and Services to lead its publishing strategy and manage business unit objectives with a focus on revenue growth and timely content delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the content strategy for various offerings, supporting the needs of the professional development division, and managing the annual budget to achieve financial goals. This role involves creating a robust plan for custom services, leading a team of publication managers, and collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance and expand content offerings. The Director or Vice President will also be involved in identifying business development opportunities and will be a key member of the Content Hub group, leveraging technology solutions to optimize the publishing workflow.

Candidates for this position should have a BA or BS degree, with advanced certifications in executive leadership being a plus. A minimum of 10 years' experience in publishing and product management, with at least 5 years in a people management role, is required. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial insight into professional publishing, learning, or not-for-profit membership associations, and experience in content management and technology-enabled monetization. Essential skills include the ability to translate strategies into action plans, excellent communication, and exceptional time management. The role may involve up to 30% travel, depending on the work arrangement.
