JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Operations is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the organization. This role ensures operational efficiency, drives process improvements, and aligns operational strategies with business goals. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Lead and manage cross-functional teams across departments such as supply chain, Production, and facilities.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to ensure targets are met.
Collaborate with senior leadership to support company goals and strategic initiatives.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for operational departments.
Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading high-performing teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in operations software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
Lean Six Sigma certification or experience with process improvement methodologies.
