We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Operations to lead and oversee the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of StandardAero’s operational functions. The Senior Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the overall success of our organization. This leadership position requires a seasoned professional who can navigate complex challenges, drive cross-functional collaboration, and contribute to the achievement of our company’s goals.

What you’ll do : Develop and execute a comprehensive operations strategy aligned with StandardAero’s objectives, focusing on scalability, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement Provide visionary leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a diverse team of operational managers Foster strong partnerships and collaboration with senior leaders, including Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, to align operational efforts and drive holistic business success Identify opportunities for cross-functional process optimization and lead initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness Analyze existing operational processes and identify areas of improvement, streamlining workflows, reducing bottlenecks, and enhancing productivity Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and high-quality output Regularly report on operational performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership team Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovative practices to drive operational excellence, evaluate/implement technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth Liaises with operation leaders to balance corporate manpower requirements and local resource shortages or surpluses.
