Position Specific Description
Do you want to make a positive impact by ensuring that our operations department is firing on all cylinders and our customers are satisfied? Join NextEra Energy Resource’s retail energy division focused on maximizing customer satisfaction through optimal operational performance. This role leads project management and integrations for M&A growth and systems migrations across operations. The position is responsible for comprehensive process mapping of the "order to cash" workflow to identify risk reduction opportunities and implementing improvements enterprise-wide to drive operational excellence during strategic expansion.
Job Overview
The Director, Operations Integration and Process Improvement will report directly to the Sr. Director of Operations. In this role, they will be responsible for leading the strategic vision for integration efforts around key acquisitions and systems migrations. This role will need to have a clear vision of the goal and ensure that cross functional teams are aligned to achieve that goal. This will include formal project management, including identifying process improvements and implementing solutions to ensure operational excellence for each acquisition. In addition, this role will evaluate current existing processes across the business and recommend and implement solutions to improve these processes. This will include leading offsites, working cross functionally, working with vendors, etc. to be successful. The Director will need to be able to coordinate meetings, lead meetings, coordinate with upper management and lead presentations and communicate directly to upper management. They will need to be comfortable making decisions and working autonomously.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Accountability for leading the integration of key acquisitions, including project management, strategic decision making, system migrations, process improvements, etc.
Accountability for leading a comprehensive review of the order to cash process for the mass markets and commercial businesses, including all process mapping, understanding of key historical issues, identifying risks and controls and implementing fixes near term
Develop project plans, process flows, presentations and other forms of communication to present to cross functional teams and upper management
Strategic ownership for operations when it comes to optimal processes and integrations
Develop solutions when issues arise and implement them
Hit key deadlines and determine how to allocate resources within the larger operations organization post-acquisition
Identify key integration risks and find and implement solutions
Oversight of the project management function to ensure projects are prioritized correctly, costs are managed, and the business delivers on requests
Ability to set-up key operational KPIs and metrics to measure and achieve performance
Ability to hit deadlines and find resolutions and develop a plan for any in jeopardy or missed
Pro-active identification of performance optimization opportunities for the business
Ad hoc analytics and deep dives to optimize performance on key issues as necessary
Create executive dashboards for key areas to report to executive leadership
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Managing complex projects with cross-functional team members
Preparing and communicating updates and recommendations through PowerPoint and excel
Project management responsibilities, including finishing key projects on time and within budget
Vendor and contract management for key operational vendors

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s – Accounting / Finance / Business / Engineering / IT or related field
Experience – 10+ years in retail energy or related field
Experience – 7+ years leading a team of individuals in a management capacity
Visio or related process flow software
Previous experience with project management of systems and/or acquisitions
Previous experience with optimizing processes
Previous experience within operations and general understanding of key operational processes
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s or advanced degree
PMP or related project management related accreditation
Knowledge of retail energy billing systems and related operational functions
Job Overview
This position is accountable for developing and implementing a sales operations organization to support Commercial and Industrial customers at various stages of decarbonization. The position will analyze data to inform sales decisions and product development as well as manage the health of sales and the customer experience. Employees in this role will interface with various cross-functional teams to standardize the sales process.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Develops and implements sales operations process for C&I customers on various stages of decarbonization
Manages account executive assignment, deal phase status, sales flow and sales health
Develops and implements training of the salesforce and sales pitch strategy
Oversees sales reporting and the development and continuity of sales data to inform the sales strategy
Manages sales leads from multiple sources
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
