Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Women and Family Center, including Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Care. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and nursing standards. Support, mentor, and manage clinical staff, including RNs, LPNs, and other healthcare professionals. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction. Develop and manage budgets, staffing plans, and department goals. Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and safety. Qualifications: Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa or an active compact license allowing practice in Iowa. BLS certification is required at the time of hire. Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certification for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse is required upon hire. Previous leadership experience in women's health, OB/GYN, family care, or a related specialty is preferred.
