Job Overview: Search Solution Group is seeking a Contract Director of Treasury on behalf of our client. The Director of Treasury is responsible for managing financing, cash management, liquidity, funding operations, and commercial banking activities enterprise-wide. This role will coordinate across the organization, particularly with Finance and Executive leadership, to ensure optimal cash flow and funding in support of the company's strategic and operational plans, while minimizing costs and ensuring compliance.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of cash management strategies, policies, and practices
Oversee daily cash management, short-term investments, and global liquidity forecasting
Develop and manage relationships with banks, lenders, and financial institutions
Evaluate and implement capital structure strategies, including debt issuance and refinancing
Monitor financial markets and assess risks related to interest rates, foreign exchange, and counterparty exposures
Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and audit standards
Collaborate with FP&A, accounting, tax, and legal teams on strategic projects and financial planning
Provide insights and reports to senior management on treasury performance, forecasts, and key metrics
Lead and develop a team of Finance professionals, providing coaching, development, and performance tracking
Act as the company's technical expert in interpreting and managing debt agreements, including permitted indebtedness, acquisitions, borrowing base, reporting requirements, and repayment provisions
Oversee reporting and compliance related to debt borrowing base and certifications
Coordinate banking, treasury, and debt requirements related to the annual external audit
Requirements Include:
Education: Master's degree required
Experience: Minimum of 9 years of related experience, including significant management experience
Skills: Expertise in cash management, capital structure, debt management, and financial risk assessment
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
Effective communication and persuasion skills across multiple stakeholders
Certifications: Professional certifications in finance or treasury management (e.g., CTP, CFA) preferred but not required
Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial markets, regulatory requirements, and treasury systems
Familiarity with debt agreements, reporting obligations, and compliance standards
Knowledge of cross-functional collaboration within Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Legal
Key Competencies: Builds effective teams and fosters collaboration
Strong business insight and ability to connect activities to critical business drivers
Sound decision quality with ability to balance risk and reward
Results-driven, with ability to maintain focus through challenges
Comfort managing ambiguity and navigating unclear situations
