The Director of Treasury Operations and Accounts Payable is an essential part of our team who is committed to excellence in the management of the tasks and projects related to depository payments, banking services, merchant card processes, and accounts payable Principle areas of responsibility include: Managing the Treasury and Accounts Payable day-to-day activities to meet the financial obligations of the organization Participating in a variety of projects across the banking and accounts payable financial landscape to promote operational efficiencies Year-end 1099 processing, sales/use tax management, and processing of real estate/personal property tax returns Ensuring proper controls exist over cash receipts, disbursements, and general treasury activities. Developing and maintaining positive relationships across the current banking partners as well as Accounts Payable vendors. Setting up of merchant processing services and managing the company's corporate credit card program, ACH debits, and credit card vendor payments. Updating and developing company-wide procedures for all Treasury and Accounts Payable functions Assisting in maintaining and updating signatories on bank accounts and researching and resolving bank questions and reconciliation issues. Special projects Qualified candidates will have an Associates degree in accounting or equivalent work experience and will have a strong knowledge of: Year-end tax reporting and sales/use tax management, Accounts Payable processes including vendor master, invoice processing and payment runs, aging payables research and resolutions, and process improvements in AP and Treasury management processes and electronic accounts payable payments/remittance and banking positive pay systems. Qualified candidates will have excellent attention to detail with the capability of maintaining confidentiality and knowledge of PC based applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word. Preferred experience includes multi-corporation AP experience and experience using PointClickCare and banking treasury management software.
