Director of Training & Development – Manufacturing (Onsite | Hourly Staff)

We’re recruiting on behalf of a global manufacturing company seeking a hands-on Training & Development leader to build and deliver impactful programs for plant-level employees. This is an onsite role where you'll lead learning strategy and implementation, working directly with hourly teams and frontline leaders to strengthen technical skills, compliance, and leadership capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute training strategies aligned with operational goals
Build programs for hourly employees, supervisors, and leadership
Deliver training using a mix of in-person, LMS, e-learning, and on-the-job methods
Implement skills assessments and track effectiveness using clear metrics
Partner with site leadership and HR to ensure programs drive performance
Leverage learning tech: LMS, simulations, blended learning, and more
Align training across global teams while tailoring to local needs
Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety training requirements What You’ll Bring: Hands-on experience leading training in a manufacturing environment
Proven success working directly with hourly workforce and plant leaders
Strong background in program development and facilitation
Familiarity with LMS platforms and modern training tools
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (HR, Education, Org Dev, etc.) Compensation:
