Job Summary: The Director of Authorization Management, Anti-Corruption, and ITC Software Solutions plays a critical role in providing International Trade Compliance leadership across the company, ensuring consistent oversight of import and export activities and system administration for key trade platforms. This role requires strong communication skills and deep knowledge of U.S. export regulations, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC. The Director oversees licensing activities, acts as a corporate-level Empowered Official, and manages regulatory filings through DECCS and SNAP-R. Additionally, this position serves as the lead for ITC Software Solutions system implementation, user access control, and vendor coordination to ensure compliance platform integrity. The Director is also responsible for onboarding and vetting third-party intermediaries, conducting risk reviews, and supporting compliance during mergers and acquisitions. As part of the ITC Leadership Team, the Director provides hands-on site support, leads DOS registration efforts, and partners cross-functionally with legal, supply chain, and security teams to maintain global compliance standards.
Job Duties & Responsibilities: Authorization Management Oversight: Review, approve, manage, and file export license applications under ITAR and EAR through DECCS and SNAP- R Act as corporate level Empowered Official and evaluate EO applications across sites Advise on the usage of exemptions and exceptions and file any required reports ITC Software Solutions Leadership: Serve as ITC Software Solutions system representative for contract negotiation, module management, and implementation support Approve user access and ensure site-wide consistency in platform usage Liaise with vendors and technical support on upgrades, issues, and compliance configuration Third-Party Compliance: Manage onboarding of third-party intermediaries through Ethixbase 360 Conduct red flag reviews and investigations Approve new contracts and assist with risk assessments Site & M&A Support: Lead DOS registration updates (annual and M&A-driven) Collaborate with legal, supply chain, and security teams on due diligence during mergers/acquisitions
Job Qualifications: Significant experience (10+ years preferred) and expertise in domestic and international trade compliance – experienced with trade compliance in manufacturing, specifically aerospace and defense, is preferred. Proven experience filing export authorizations through DDTC/BIS Proficient in DECCS, SNAP-R, and ITC Software Solutions Empowered Official designation or demonstrated experience fulfilling EO duties Strong knowledge of ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and related U.S. trade laws Experience leading compliance for M&A integrations Familiarity with third-party vetting systems Background in managing Technology Control Plans, visitor access, and training programs Cross-functional communication skills; ability to influence engineering, contracts, and legal teams Experience developing and presenting compliance training globally (North America, Europe, Asia) Proven ability to manage third-party audits and government inquiries, and implement effective corrective action plans Must be a U.S. Person (A U.S. Person is a U.S. citizen or person who is a lawful permanent resident as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency with Customs ACE platform and experience responding to CBP Requests for Information (CF28/CF29) Experience with U.S. Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), U.S. Customs and Border Protection procedures, and Census reporting requirements Expertise in tariff classification, customs valuation, reconciliation processes, and duty preference program administration Familiarity with global trade regulations, including export, import, sanctions, and embargoes across Wassenaar countries
