The Director of Total Rewards will work with the HR team and all of the Kelso operating companies to manage and oversee all compensation and benefits across Kelso Industries , ensuring compliance with ERISA and other regulations, and supporting the company's business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in benefits and compensation practices and a strong ability to lead change management and the complexities of multiple operating companies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement comprehensive total rewards strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Develop plan to analyze/review OpCo compensation programs, including salary structures, incentive plans, and equity programs. Design and manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation and benefits offerings. Analyze and evaluate compensation and benefits data to make informed recommendations. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits. Collaborate with HR and leadership to develop and communicate total rewards policies and procedures. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on compensation and benefits-related matters. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of total rewards programs and make adjustments as needed. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in total rewards management. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Prefer at least 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits management. Strong knowledge of compensation practices, including job evaluation, salary surveys, and incentive plan design. Experience with benefits administration, including health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and wellness programs. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in HRIS and compensation management software. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) certification is a plus.
