Compensation:$140K
What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee and maintain Raspberry Pi-based systems installed in mobile fleet vehicles
- Manage MQTT communication, GPIO, and cellular modem integration for edge devices
- Own backend API development and system reliability on AWS
- Troubleshoot and refine iOS app interactions with backend and edge devices
- Implement and scale AI tools for forecasting, routing, anomaly detection, and maintenance
- Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines from vehicles to dashboards
- Work onsite and in the field to continuously optimize technical performance
What You'll Need to be Considered
- Experience integrating and managing edge devices (Raspberry Pi, MQTT)
- Proficiency in Python for backend and systems development
- Deep familiarity with AWS cloud services and IoT pipelines
- Strong understanding of mobile app-to-backend communication (iOS)
- Proven success implementing AI/LLM tools for operational enhancement
- Comfortable working in a hands-on leadership capacity, both in-office and in the field
