Position Summary:  The Director of Technical Marketing will play a critical role in shaping our company's growth strategy and expanding our business in the memory ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in memory and a strong network of relationships within the industry.  The candidate should be a strategic thinker, have excellent communication skills, and be able to develop and execute plans to drive business growth. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy for the company's high density server memory products. This includes creating and executing go-to-market plans, establishing brand positioning, driving demand generation programs, and developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, sales, and finance to ensure alignment and execution of marketing plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our business in the memory ecosystem. Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry ecosystem partners. Provide a regular overview of the industry developments and opportunities to executive management. Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for the company's server memory products. Create and execute go-to-market plans, including product positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in emerging memory technologies. Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive demand generation and sales pipeline. Engage with key CSPs, OEMs, ODMs, ISVs, ASICs, Memory, and chipset vendors to understand market trends and product requirements—partner with business development and technical colleagues. Collaborate with product management, engineering, and sales teams to ensure alignment on messaging, product features, and pricing. Manage the creation of marketing collateral, including product datasheets, whitepapers, and customer case studies. Develop and manage marketing budgets and report on ROI. Track and analyze market and competitive trends to identify new opportunities and areas for growth. Build and manage a high-performing marketing team to support the company's growth objectives. Represent the company at industry events and conferences. Evaluate the developments in the Ecosystem and report to Engineering and Management and determine if these technologies should be applied to our portfolio.
Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in technical marketing, preferably in the semiconductor or memory industry. Strong technical understanding of memory products and technologies
Experience with computer architecture, memory technology and familiarity with industry standards (JEDEC, CXL, SNIA, etc.) required.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns. Strong leadership skills and experience managing high-performing teams. Understanding of datacenter, enterprise markets, ecosystem, and workloads. Identify, optimize and articulate Key value propositions for our product. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and with senior executives. Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to make informed decisions. Experience managing budgets and reporting on ROI. Willingness to travel as needed.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
