Industry Accounting Type Privately Held, Private Equity-backed About the Role We are on the lookout for a proactive Director of Tax Services for our Alternative Investments practice. In this pivotal role, you will deliver top-notch tax compliance and consulting services to a diverse array of clients, including those in venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, and real estate sectors. Your expertise will help ensure that our clients meet all tax obligations while effectively minimizing their tax and reporting burdens. As the Director, you will lead a talented team of tax professionals committed to high-quality service delivery. You'll be instrumental in identifying and implementing innovative tax strategies, cultivating strong client relationships, and overseeing the financial aspects of various engagements. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in tax, public accounting, private industry accounting, or professional services is required. Certification as a CPA, Licensed Attorney, or IRS Enrolled Agent is mandatory, with additional qualifications such as CFP or a Master’s in Tax being highly advantageous. To succeed in this role, you will need an in-depth understanding of the financial services industry, particularly in alternative investment funds, along with strong proficiency in partnership taxation. You’ll demonstrate outstanding communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities, and have a proven track record in team leadership and client relationship management.
