Director of Supply Chain, Sourcing and Logistics

Leads all supply chain, logistics, warehousing, and sourcing functions to ensure reliable material flow, efficient distribution, and strong supplier performance. Balances daily execution with long-term planning, driving improvements that reduce cost, improve delivery, and strengthen resilience. Builds and develops a capable team while establishing strategies that support growth and customer satisfaction. Reports directly to the General Manager and serves as a key member of the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
● Operational Leadership
Oversee daily operations in supply chain, sourcing, logistics, and warehousing to ensure materials, components, and finished goods are available when needed. Resolve issues quickly to minimize production or delivery delays.
● Supplier and Sourcing Management
Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery requirements are met. Negotiate contracts and agreements that support both immediate needs and long-term partnerships.
● Logistics and Distribution
Direct inbound and outbound transportation, optimizing routes and carrier use to balance cost with on-time performance. Ensure customers receive products accurately and within agreed timelines.
● Warehousing and Inventory
Lead warehouse operations to maintain accurate inventory and efficient material handling. Define stocking policies that support production while controlling excess working capital.
● Strategic Planning
Develop supply chain strategies that anticipate risks, reduce lead times, and increase flexibility. Align sourcing and logistics decisions with company growth plans and new product requirements.
● Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement process improvements across supply chain functions to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Use data to measure results and drive accountability.
● Team Development
Build and mentor a high-performing team in sourcing, warehousing, and logistics. Provide clear direction while developing leadership capability within the group.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with operations, engineering, quality, and finance to ensure the supply chain supports production schedules, product launches, and customer commitments.
Requirements Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
● 10+ years of experience in supply chain or operations leadership within a manufacturing environment
● Strong background in sourcing, logistics, and inventory management with a record of both daily execution and strategic improvement
● Demonstrated ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage performance through metrics and accountability
● Proven leadership skills with experience in building and developing teams
● Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
