The University of Notre Dame seeks a strategic and compassionate leader to direct the  Center for Student Support and Care (CSSC) , a cornerstone of our Student Health and Wellness area. The CSSC integrates the  Sara Bea Accessibility Services (including the Testing Center) , the  Care and Wellness Consultant Program , and the  Time Away Project , providing critical support to more than 12,900 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. Through case management, accommodations, wellness consulting, and crisis intervention, the Director ensures that every student has the resources to flourish. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Vision Provide strategic direction for the CSSC in alignment with Student Affairs and the AVP for Student Health and Wellness. Support the supervision of the Care and Wellness Consultants and Sara Bea Accessibility Services. Foster a culture of inclusion, care, and early intervention. Chair the Division Care Team and serve on the University Threat Assessment Team. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 15 professional staff. Student Support & Collaboration Oversee case management, accommodations, and crisis response. Partner with academic leaders to coordinate student withdrawals and leaves of absence. Collaborate across campus (Residential Life, General Counsel, and others) to implement support strategies. Serve as a visible, trusted resource for students, families, faculty, and staff. Policy & Compliance Develop and manage policies related to disability services, time away, crisis response, and behavioral concerns. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and ADA regulations. Co-lead the University’s undergraduate Time Away process.

Qualifications
Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Personnel Administration, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Experience of 7 or more years with: Significant and varied experiences in Student Affairs as a counselor, advisor, or administrator Supervisor experience necessary with evidence of vision and leadership Sensitivity to a Catholic culture with a commitment to serving students with varying needs Strong organizational skills Knowledge and appreciation of legal issues in higher education, capability of long-range planning and implementation.
