Position Overview
We are seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships, a dynamic, results-driven professional to join our team. Your success in this role will pave the way for future leadership opportunities. We are actively planning for our expansion into other cities, and this position is a direct pipeline for a future Regional Director role, where you will build and lead new business development teams.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Generate leads and appointments that convert into sales opportunities.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key partners, including:
Production and custom home builders
Construction managers
Interior designers
Landscape architects
Architectural firms
Commercial developers and project managers
Present and promote products and solutions to potential partners and clients.
Negotiate partnership terms and collaboration opportunities to expand business reach.
Partner closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs and growth of new accounts.
Track and manage all outreach, opportunities, and follow-ups using CRM and spreadsheets.
Maintain accurate records of activities, appointments, and results.
Represent the company professionally at networking events, presentations, and meetings.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or related roles.
Proven ability to generate leads, book appointments, and develop lasting partnerships.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven with excellent follow-up abilities.
Experience working with or selling to builders, designers, architects, or commercial clients is a plus.
Ability to collaborate with high-level business leaders and internal sales teams.
Proficiency in CRM software and spreadsheet management preferred.
