The Director of Strategic Partnershipsat VPL will own the strategy, execution, and growth of VPLs software partnerships within the pharmacyspace. This role willbe responsible foridentifying, negotiating, and managing relationships that expand VPLs product value, accelerate adoption, and create new revenue opportunities.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of product, technology, and business development, with a passion for buildingecosystemsthat scale.

  • Partnership Strategy:Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for software and product partnerships aligned with VPLs business goals.
  • Partner Sourcing & Evaluation:Identifyand evaluate potential partners (e.g., SaaS platforms,logisticstech, data providers, APIs) to complement and expand VPLs offerings.
  • Contracting & Negotiation:Lead partnership discussions, contracts, and commercial agreements with new and existing partners.
  • Integration & Enablement:Collaborate with Product, Engineering, andAccount Managementteams to scope, prioritize, and deliver high-impact integrations.
  • Relationship Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for technology partners, ensuring mutual value, performance tracking, and joint success.
  • Market Intelligence:Stay current on industry trends, competitor partnerships, and emerging technologies to inform VPLs partnership strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Marketing and Sales to co-develop go-to-market plans, joint campaigns, and enablement materials.
  • Performance Measurement:Define KPIs, track partnership outcomes, and report on impact to leadership.

WhatYoullBring


  • 5+ years in partnerships, business development, product management, or related roles, ideally within SaaS,logisticstech, or B2B software.
  • Knowledge, experience, and connections in the pharmacy industry
  • Strong understanding of API-driven integrations, SaaS ecosystems, and technology partnerships.
  • Proventrack recordof negotiating and managing technology or product partnerships.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
