Overview Director of Scientific Communications - Chemistry, Biology, Medical. Base pay range: $85,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr. Endevica Bio is an emerging company building a discovery-to-approval pathway and is seeking a communications-forward leader to tell our scientific story to clinicians, investors, and other stakeholders. The role is a full-time, in-person position based in Northbrook, IL, with possible light travel to conferences. The hire will be the company’s internal communications-focused teammate, working with consulting resources to cover gaps as needed. We are early in commercialization and anticipate communicating about our oncology program, including a breakthrough cancer cachexia therapeutic, to validate its therapeutic potential and inform clinical practice when approved. Responsibilities Lead outbound communications that are picked up by clinicians and investors, translating complex scientific data into clear, actionable messaging. Develop and execute a communications strategy around clinical data releases, conferences, and interactions with KOLs, investors, and media. Coordinate with the CMO and broader team to prepare materials for ASCO and other venues; manage timelines and deliverables for data disclosures and public communications. Own first-time communications strategy for initial data releases (e.g., first 50 patients on the Expanded Access Program) to KOLs, press, and business development partners, and brainstorm integration into future trials. Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment of messaging with clinical landscape and regulatory considerations. Manage daily communications operations, including email management and internal/external outreach planning. Qualifications Advanced degree in science (PhD or MD/DO strongly preferred). Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences. Experience in scientific communication, clinical landscape digestion, and stakeholder engagement (clinicians, investors, media). Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a small, fast-paced team.
