Overview Global Food and Beverage Ingredients Recruiter Now Hiring: Director of Sales- Anti-microbials and functional ingredients I’m excited to be partnering with a rapidly growing food ingredients company that’s looking for a Director of Sales and Accounts to take charge of their functional ingredients portfolio and growing client-base . This is a high-visibility leadership role for someone who thrives in B2B/B2C ingredient sales and has the drive to build strong, lasting customer relationships. A technical background would be greatly preferred- as the nature of the product means an insight into the scientific side of the business would really aid in your success. What You’ll Do Lead commercial strategy and execution for ingredients across the U.S. Manage and grow key accounts with food & beverage manufacturers Build and mentor a high-performing sales team Develop long-term partnerships focused on innovation and value creation Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, marketing, and supply chain to deliver customer solutions Drive revenue growth through account planning and business development What We’re Looking For 8–10+ years of sales leadership in food ingredients, specialty chemicals, or functional food sectors Strong knowledge of functional ingredients (proteins, fibers, sweeteners, nutraceuticals, anti-microbials etc.) Proven success in leading teams and managing national accounts Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills Based in (or open to relocating to) Chicago Technical background in R&D and/or food science Seniority level Director Employment type Full-time Job function Sales and Business Development Industries: Food and Beverage Services Get notified about new Sales Director jobs in Chicago, IL .
