Director of Sales

BridgeTower Media is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Sales to lead and inspire a diverse sales team across multiple brands and product lines within our omnichannel company that includes digital, event sponsorship and print revenue responsibilities. This role requires hands-on leadership, with a strong emphasis on direct management of sales executives to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets. The ideal candidate thrives on goal achievement, accurate forecasting, data-driven decision-making, and has a proven track record of creating innovative revenue streams in a competitive landscape. This role is based in the Minneapolis area and requires regular travel.
Duties + Responsibilities: Directly manage and mentor a team of sales representatives across various multimedia brands and platforms. Set, monitor, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Develop accurate sales forecasts, leveraging historical data, market trends, and pipeline analytics. Analyze performance trends and market conditions to inform strategy and adjust sales approaches accordingly. Drive new business development initiatives and identify untapped market opportunities. Partner with marketing, product, and content teams to align sales strategies with company goals. Provide regular performance reporting and strategic insights to executive leadership. Champion a culture of creativity, resilience, and accountability across the sales organization. Navigate and overcome sales challenges with persistence and innovative thinking. Skills + Qualifications: 7+ years of sales experience. Digital experience a plus. 3+ years in a sales leadership or director-level role managing direct reports. Proven ability to lead a multi-brand, multi-product sales team with consistent goal achievement. Exceptional forecasting and pipeline management skills. Strong analytical abilities and experience with CRM tools. Demonstrated success in building new revenue streams and growing client relationships. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Strategic thinker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Background in B2B sales environments a plus. Familiarity with data analytics tools and sales performance dashboards. Reliable home internet connection with minimum 50mbps up/10mbps down. What does BridgeTower Media offer?
