Introduction
Classic Granite & Marble has a 98,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art fabrication and production facility with an award-winning showroom located conveniently off I-288 and Midlothian Turnpike. We carry an inventory of over 9000 slabs including 300 different colors in our indoor facility. We handle all projects from beginning to end, which includes laser templating, CAD, fabrication, and installation.
Ideal candidates will be , highly organized, self-motivated, positive individuals with amazing people skills and attention to detail! Our clients include both residential homeowners and building contractors, and candidates need to not only be able to interface between our clients, but also between the various departments and employees.
Position Overview: The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that increase revenue, strengthen customer relationships, and expand market share. This role requires strong leadership skills, a strong sales operations background, and the ability to motivate and mentor a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and partnerships to drive growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, designers, builders, and other industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with leadership, marketing, and operations to align sales strategies with overall company goals.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to ensure the company remains competitive.
- Oversee the sales pipeline, reporting, and forecasting to provide accurate and timely insights to leadership.
- Drive performance metrics, KPIs, and incentive programs to increase accountability and results.
- As needed, represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (7+ years) in sales leadership, fabrication, construction materials, or related industries.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
- Analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
