We’re seeking a dynamic and motivated Director of Sales to lead the charge in driving revenue and achieving ambitious sales goals at Sonesta Select Miami Lakes. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and executing strategic sales initiatives, setting revenue targets, training and mentoring sales personnel, and generating both new and repeat business across multiple market segments—including corporate, group, and extended stay.

Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000 yearly Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize revenue, increase occupancy, and grow market share across all segments. Drive outbound sales efforts, including in-person cold calls, networking, and phone solicitation to local businesses, travel planners, and community organizations. Design and oversee revenue strategies and sales targets to align with hotel objectives and market opportunities. Train, mentor, and evaluate sales personnel to build and maintain a high-performing team. Analyze market trends and data to identify opportunities and proactively address challenges. Provide accurate weekly and monthly sales activity reports, collaborate with department heads, and keep all stakeholders informed on performance and strategy. Represent the hotel at community events, trade shows, and networking functions to strengthen relationships and develop new business. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience required, with at least 1 year in a leadership role preferred. Proven track record in lead generation, closing sales, and achieving revenue goals. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales reporting tools. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field preferred (high school diploma or GED required). Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for business. Familiarity with the Miami Lakes!
