Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the total sales activity of the hotels / executing sales and marketing strategies.
  2. Plan and implement ongoing action plans and sales activity/strategies.
  3. Maintain existing accounts and securing new accounts.
  4. Collaborate with GMs to develop and maintain marketing plan and sales budget.
  5. Participates in revenue management meetings/strategies using brand system and industry-driven sales tools.
  6. Coordinate group, transient, and negotiated rates to maximize revenues and profits.

Sales Manager Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years in a hotel sales management role.
  • Strong financial acumen, business planning, forecasting, sales budget.
  • Hands-on and ownership mentality.
  • Computer skills, systems, spreadsheets, organization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - articulate.
  • High energy and positive demeanor with strong networking impetus.
