A fast-growing consumer products company in the Northeastern NJ area is seeking a Director of Sales Strategy to drive profitability and growth across the U.S. market. This role will lead a team in defining, evaluating, and implementing sales strategies, ensuring the organization is equipped with the right trade management tools and compelling category selling stories to grow our brands in the retail marketplace.

Key Responsibilities
Lead a team focused on sales strategy, trade optimization, and category growth.
Equip the sales organization with tools, insights, and stories that win at retail.
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver profitable sales growth.
Qualifications
7+ years in consumer products/CPG sales, with a mix of direct selling and internal sales strategy (Trade, Category Management, Sales Strategy).
Proven experience in Food, Drug, Mass, and/or E-commerce channels, with strong fundamentals in forecasting, TPM management, and S&OP.
Strong category management skills with expertise in syndicated/POS data sources (Nielsen, Retail Link, etc.) and the ability to turn data into compelling selling stories.
Solid financial and trade management background, with experience creating and managing pricing and promotion strategies in highly competitive categories.
Demonstrated people leadership skills.
