Reports to: General Manager
Lexington Hotel Group is seeking a results-oriented sales professional with a strong track record for growing market share to lead our sales strategy at Residence Inn Columbus Downtown. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated "hunter" with a passion for hospitality and a strong ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners. As Director of Sales, you will drive top-line revenue, develop long-term business relationships, and cultivate a high-performance culture rooted in collaboration and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to drive business in social, group, and corporate markets
Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Monitor market trends and maintain competitive industry knowledge
Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve or exceed goals in business transient, group rooms, and catering revenue through strong ADR and occupancy strategies
Actively pursue new business through networking, cold calling, warm leads, appointments, and sales blitzes
Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and professionalism
Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams and external clients
Embrace a team-first mindset and support operational departments as needed
Utilize and maintain proficiency in sales software and reporting systems
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Detail-oriented with excellent time management and prioritization abilities
Proficient in standard office software and basic computer applications including Microsoft Office, Outlook and web-based tools.
