The Director of Sales Operations plays a mission-critical leadership role within each of our EmpowerHome locations. Acting as the operational sales leader on the ground, this person ensures smooth business execution, drives agent performance, and fosters sustainable growth. The Director of Sales Operations is responsible for launching agents into the system by onboarding them and coaching all agents to the EH proven client service and conversion system. This role requires strong leadership, operational acumen, a coaching mindset, and a passion for driving results.
This position is an in-person/in-office position. Compensation: $85,000 Responsibilities: Sales Operations & Performance Management Assign team-generated appointments to agents based on conversion to maximize sales outcomes. Continuously monitor agent conversion metrics; analyze and adjust appointment assignment strategy accordingly. Provide hands-on coaching to all new agents through their first five transactions. Guide agents through writing their first contracts, listing agreements, and buyer agreements. Ensure the agents are following the EH processes. Ensure agents transition smoothly and quickly into production. Enforce CRM best practices; ensure timely and effective follow-up processes. Oversee tracking and reporting of agent conversion numbers, ensuring alignment with sales targets. Operational Leadership Oversee daily operational activities of the location. Train operational staff (listing managers and transaction coordinators) on location-specific items. Manage office personnel and ensure smooth daily operations. Cross-train on operational roles to provide coverage when needed. Manage location budget; track Accounts Payable/Receivable and approve expenditures. Manage compliance and paperwork processes with the Market Center, including lease and financial documentation. Onboarding & Training Lead onboarding of new agents. Facilitate seamless integration of new team members into the location’s culture and workflow.
Team & Client Experience Lead planning and execution of local team and client events in collaboration with the HQ Marketing team. Serve as the primary point of communication between local team members and HQ. Monitor and manage team morale; ensure a positive and productive team environment. Systems Management & Reporting Conduct daily reviews of Real Estate Tracking & Management software (CTE or similar) for accuracy. Maintain oversight of all follow-up systems and objection handling within CRM notes. Assist with operational roll-out of new lead generation initiatives (Sign System, Open House System, Success Story System, etc.). Prepare agendas and materials for area team meetings. Communicate important updates and coordinate with Market Center leadership. Qualifications: Desired Competencies & Skills Strong leadership and coaching skills with a results-oriented mindset. Proven operational and organizational management experience. High proficiency in sales data analysis and CRM systems. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and competing demands. Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence. Financial acumen; ability to manage and track budgets. Clear and effective communicator with all levels of the organization. Qualifications 3+ years of leadership experience in sales operations, real estate operations, or related fields. Licensed Real Estate Agent. Prior experience managing operational staff and coaching sales professionals. Deep understanding of the residential real estate process. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with real estate CRMs and tracking tools. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Highly motivated and goal-oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills. Computer proficiency required, including MS Office, GSuite, CTM, CRMs, MLS, etc. Salary & Benefits Annual Salary: $55,000-$65,000 Bonus Potential: $10,000-$20,000+ in the first year, $20,000+ after first full year 2% of Net Profit growth year-over-year, paid monthly in arrears. 5% of GCI on the first 5 transactions of new agents that join the team, paid monthly in arrears.
