Role Description The Director will play a critical role in setting up and developing the GCC line of business. They will be focusing on the US market and will be responsible for the sales of services involving the GCC setup. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, leadership, and hands-on involvement in the sales process to ensure both growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
Work with both inhouse and outside sales lead generation teams to target top-of-the-funnel inbound sales leads and close new business opportunities for GCC services. Drive the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for GCC services, including market analysis, positioning, pricing, and identifying key growth sectors.
Manage end-to-end sales cycle and achieve sales targets, including sales strategy, business planning, forecasting, account management, and execution.
Develop and nurture corporate contacts and relationships at multiple levels to identify new business development opportunities.
Stay updated on industry trends and market developments to inform sales strategies.
Qualifications
10 to 12 years of experience in enterprise sales with a strong focus on IT outsourcing or GCC services. Proven track record of selling to global organizations.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred (ideally in business, technology, or international management).
Deep understanding of the Global Capability Center (GCC) model, global delivery models, and offshore/nearshore outsourcing.
Strong understanding of India’s IT/operations landscape, including talent, costs, regulations, and locations (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, etc.).
Experience working with CXO-level stakeholders across mid-sized and large U.S. enterprises.
Strong existing relationships with enterprise clients across target industries for GCC.
Expertise in consultative sales approaches, particularly with multi-million-dollar deals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and influence at the executive level.
Familiarity with CRM systems and the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
