Today, we’re expanding even further into the broader metabolic health space, supporting patients managing obesity, diabetes, GLP-1 therapy, and more.
In this role, you’ll lead growth in our core bariatric business, expand our presence in metabolic health, and reimagine how we serve both healthcare practitioners who buy (resellers) and those who recommend (recommenders) our products.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES):
Lead, coach, and inspire our inside and field sales team to win in the bariatric, medical weight management and metabolic health categories.
Build and execute sales strategies across two core channels:
Resellers – Bariatric clinics, hospitals, and HCPs who purchase and resell products
Recommenders – HCPs who influence and guide patient use via our brand stores.
Identify and grow key accounts across hospital systems, GLP-1 clinics, medical weight loss clinics, obesity medicine practices, and other emerging partners in metabolic health.
Uplevel team performance through strong coaching, accountability, and a culture of ownership and impact.
Represent Blueroot Health at industry trade shows, conferences, and events, strengthening our visibility and forging new relationships.
Partner cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies and flawless execution.
Utilize CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), automation tools, and AI to streamline and scale sales operations.
Actively listen to HCP feedback to co-create innovative solutions that meet their evolving needs
Travel estimated at 30% of the time to support team development, key account growth, and in-market initiatives.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED (KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
8+ years of healthcare practitioner sales experience, including at least 5 years of proven leadership experience managing and scaling high-performing sales teams.
Strong understanding of reseller and recommender business models.
Experience in bariatric, metabolic, nutrition, or adjacent health sectors—or a strong desire to learn fast.
A passion for impacting patient outcomes through nutrition.
A builder’s mindset: thrives in ambiguity, challenges the norm, and scales successful strategies.
Comfortable working with CRM platforms and excited about leveraging AI and automation.
A collaborative, accountable leader who thrives in a purpose-driven environment.
