We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Director of Sales to lead our Away From Home (AFH) business. This role will drive growth across leading foodservice distributors and operators, including Sysco, US Foods, Sodexo, and Compass.
The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of foodservice sales, a proven record in the snacks or food ingredients sector, and hands-on experience managing broker networks. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our go-to-market strategy, forging strategic partnerships, and ensuring our brands are the preferred choice across the foodservice landscape.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the AFH channel, driving growth across distributors and operators.
- Set clear objectives, revenue targets, and performance metrics that align with overall company goals.
Business Development & Growth
- Drive new business acquisition while expanding market share with existing partners.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the foodservice sector to accelerate brand penetration and category leadership.
Customer & Relationship Management
- Build and nurture executive-level relationships with key customers, including Sysco, US Foods, Sodexo, Compass and Operators.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by delivering insights, innovation, and tailored solutions that meet their evolving needs.
Broker Leadership & Enablement
- Oversee and inspire a network of broker partners, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and flawless market execution.
- Equip brokers with the tools, training, and motivation to exceed performance targets and grow brand visibility.
Negotiation & Commercial Excellence
- Lead high-stakes negotiations with buyers and distributors to secure long-term, profitable partnerships.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align pricing, trade investment, and promotional strategies for sustainable growth.
Market Intelligence & Insights
- Conduct detailed market and competitive analyses to identify trends, threats, and opportunities.
- Use insights to influence product development, pricing, and marketing strategies that resonate with customers and operators.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure successful execution of innovation, promotions, and customer initiatives.
- Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization to drive agility, innovation, and excellence.
Performance Reporting & Optimization
- Deliver regular sales reports, performance analytics, and strategic insights to leadership.
- Recommend adjustments to strategy based on market feedback and evolving customer needs.

- 10+ years of progressive sales experience within food manufacturing, snacks, or CPG, with a strong background in foodservice.
- Proven success managing distributor relationships (Sysco, US Foods, Sodexo, Compass).
- Extensive broker management experience, with a track record of motivating teams to deliver measurable growth.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute commercial strategies that drive profitable, sustainable growth.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical mindset, capable of turning data into actionable strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
