Description
This position reports directly to the Operations Director (OD) or Sales Execution Manager (SEM) for a designated territory. They will assist the OD in follow up on critical issues such as variances, cash shortages, audits, loss investigation, market assistance and other operational aspects. Job requires coaching and training with field personnel on policies and procedures. This position helps troubleshoot field concerns and needs.
They will work at the discretion of the Operations Director but will also have a dotted line to Back Office Operations, Training and Loss Prevention.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with training Department to ensure market has completed Cricket and Mobilelink training requirements
Address issues found in the Interlock file and MTD reports
Hold field leadership accountable for the issues identified on interlock calls to drive results.
Contact support for store personnel within the market to troubleshoot store concerns and problems.
Develop good working relationships with TM & Store Contacts to achieve maximum productivity.
Review and analyze reports for operational deficiencies and then address them with stakeholders to impact change.
Ensure that Asset Handovers are completed when store manager changes occur.
Follow up on missing bank deposit slips.
Work with Loss Prevention on missing devices and ensure that hard counts are completed according to plan and missing inventory is reported and investigated. This includes assisting with investigations and researching devices.
Enable and train the field to ensure they can complete their deposits and device/accessory variances on their own.
Work on Grand Openings and new store launch preparations.
Assist stores with Social Media marketing.
Work with underperforming managers on best practices and sales technique.
Ensure stores are promoting Event sales
Ensure field is trained and educated on changes and company expectations
Troubleshoot field issues and concerns.
Visit markets and assist with training and stabilizing operational issues.
Validate requisitions are open for any store staffing issues identified in Interlock calls and discussion with field.
Miscellaneous projects as assigned by the Operations Director or Sales Execution Manager.
Leverage back office Ops team to the fullest for the closure of open items.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES
Respond to requests timely.
Follow up with corporate business partners on reports, investigations and audits.
Ensure that store leadership is addressing and answering inquiries and requests.
There should be measured improvement in operations with markets and stores that are not meeting company standards.
Qualifications
High School diploma required
2 years successful sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
2 or more years of experience in Wireless Retail
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Strong Analytical Skills
Strong Customer Service Skills
Good Problem-Solving Skills
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Travel requirement up to 50% of the time.
