Job Details
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and oversee all company-wide safety programs, policies, and procedures
Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
Conduct regular site safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations
Lead safety training programs and toolbox talks for employees and subcontractors
Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters and reporting
Partner with project managers and superintendents to proactively address safety risks
Track safety metrics and trends to drive continuous improvement
Manage workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work programs
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
Minimum 7–10 years of construction safety experience, including leadership responsibilities
Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction industry safety practices
Professional safety certifications preferred (, CHST, CSP, OSHA 500)
Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to travel to job sites as needed
