Role Overview:
We're seeking a Revenue Operations Director to join our leadership team and drive growth on two critical fronts: delivering exceptional revenue operations services that create predictable revenue for our clients, and optimizing 1 Bold Step's internal operations to fuel our continued growth.
This entrepreneurial leader will build and launch our comprehensive Revenue Operations service line from the ground up while strengthening our team management, processes, and client success functions. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, has a proven track record of creating and executing new initiatives, and possesses the strategic vision to help scale a growing agency that works with companies often larger than ourselves. Key Responsibilities:
Operations Service Line Development:
Create and manage a comprehensive Revenue Operations service offering that integrates with our Lean Transformation of Marketing process
Define program scope, methodology, and deliverables for internal and external stakeholders
Develop necessary tools, audits, and documentation to support client engagements
Create and execute a full Go-To-Market strategy for the new service line
Establish KPIs that align with overall 1 Bold Step performance metrics
Generate measurable revenue through successful service delivery
Lead Generation & Nurturing Systems:
Develop and manage prospecting and nurturing engines to generate leads for clients across the whole customer journey.
Create systematic processes for lead qualification and hand-off to sales teams
Build inside sales capabilities or manage teams/contractors to execute client lead generation
Ensure smooth transitions and proper nurturing throughout the entire sales funnel
Client Revenue Cycle Optimization:
Conduct comprehensive end-to-end revenue cycle analysis to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
Manage client expectations regarding lead generation and the marketing-to-sales handoff process
Close the loop on ROMI by ensuring no broken processes impede predictable business growth
Provide strategic consultation on process improvements and team development
Collaborate with Digital Operations team to standardize reporting and systems
Internal Agency Operations:
Optimize 1 Bold Step's internal revenue cycle from marketing through sales to client success
Work with team to establish performance metrics and reporting for agency-wide revenue operations
Improve client success functions, including onboarding, account management, as well as project upsells and increased retention
Support leadership in developing annual bonus and commission programs for team members
Enhance operational practices to support continuous improvement and scaling of the agency
Team Leadership & Development:
Manage current employees and contractors executing revenue operations work, including the Growth Strategists who manage client accounts
Provide training and development on revenue operations best practices
Lead cross-functional collaboration between business development, account management, and project teams
Mentor team members on revenue operations methodologies and client service excellence
Strategic Planning & Reporting:
Develop comprehensive reporting dashboards to track service line and client performance
Provide regular performance updates to leadership team and key stakeholders
Identify opportunities for service expansion and operational improvements
Support strategic decision-making with data-driven insights and recommendations
Skills & Qualifications:
Required Experience:
Minimum 8+ years of related agency and/or sales operations experience
Proven track record in developing and launching new service offerings
Experience managing revenue operations for B2B organizations
Demonstrated success in optimizing end-to-end revenue cycles
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (specifically HubSpot and Salesforce)
Experience working with lead qualification teams (BDRs/ISRs)
Working knowledge of Asana or similar project management software
Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities
Understanding of sales process optimization and team development
Leadership & Soft Skills:
Excellent business writing and communication skills
Empathetic problem-solving and client consultation abilities
Strong analytical mindset with continuous improvement orientation

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business; MBA and operations certifications preferred
Experience with management systems including EOS, Lean Management, and Agile Marketing
Previous experience in agency leadership or service line development
