We're seeking a strategic, forward-thinking leader to join our team as Director of Revenue Cycle Management. Location: Melville, NY | Remote for New York residents (with occasional travel to site locations)

Annual Salary: $165,000

What You'll Do & What You'll Bring:

  • Develop and implement standardized billing, accounts receivable, and bad debt policies in collaboration with leadership
  • Optimize front-end collections, including eligibility checks, authorizations, and patient balances, and support accurate documentation and coding
  • Monitor billing performance, denials, aging A/R, write-offs, and rejections to identify and address trends
  • Guide and manage RCM, billing, and coding staff, including performance oversight, training, and development
  • Partner with outsourced billing vendors and internal teams to ensure process alignment and policy compliance
  • Provide performance reporting and insights to leadership and help inform organizational strategies
  • Troubleshoot systems and coordinate solutions with IT, Finance, Analytics, and Operations
  • Stay current with regulations and lead compliance and audit preparedness efforts
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and partner with senior leadership on scalable solutions

You'll thrive in this role with:

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field preferredor equivalent clinical healthcare experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle administration, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Advanced proficiency in billing systems, MS Excel, and related technology
  • Working knowledge of AthenaOne required
  • Familiarity with Physician Practice E&M Codes and Specialty Codes
  • Strong ability to interpret laws, policies, and regulations, and advise across organizational levels
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A demonstrated track record of ethical decision-making, team development, and operational success
