The Gardens of North Olmsted is looking for a new Director of Rehabiliation ( SLP or COTA)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead our rehabilitation services team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare management, with expertise in Long Term Care and Skilled Nursing and experience with Net Health and PCC
***Will be expected to work 1 weekend day a week (Sat or Sun), with a day during the week M-FR off***
DOR will be expected to tx/eval (based on discipline) up to 40%
This role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring efficient service delivery.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Manage fiscal responsibilities, including budgeting and resource allocation for the rehabilitation services.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
Ensure accurate maintenance of medical records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Utilize healthcare management systems such as Net Health and PCC
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing professional development opportunities for staff.
Experience
Must have prior experience (a minimum of 2 years prior DOR experience is preferred, but less would be considered as a DOR in LTC/SNF settings)
